Zoetis hires new equine customer support team member

Zoetis has announced the appointment of Anthea Pike as the newest member of its equine business consultant team.

Ms Pike's promotion will augment the breadth of services the company can offer to equine veterinary practices by offering support for practice management in a range of areas, such as profit and pricing, client experience and digital and social media marketing.

She has been with the Zoetis business since 2003, with her work focusing on sales and marketing. Prior to joining the organisation, she accrued experience of working across both the animal health and human pharmaceutical industries.

Penny McCann, equine product manager at Zoetis, said: "She has extensive experience and knowledge of the equestrian and pharmaceutical sectors and, as a horse owner and rider, she brings added strength to the role in being able to clearly understand the client's perspective."

This comes after the firm appointed Rachael McErlain, Emma Tidball and Victoria Dawson as new account managers within its equine team in December.
