Zoetis names new chief financial officer
Zoetis has announced the appointment of Glenn David as its new executive vice-president and chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Mr David, who previously served as the company's senior vice-president of finance operations, has been named as the successor to Paul Herendeen, who has quit the post to take up a position with another organisation.
The new CFO has played a key role in Zoetis' financial operations since its initial public offering in 2013, and previously served as acting CFO for a period between April and August 2014.
He has now assumed responsibility for the oversight of the company's financial management, planning and global operations, as well as becoming part of the Zoetis executive team.
Juan Ramon Alaix, chief executive officer at Zoetis, said: "With this natural transition of executive responsibility to such a high-calibre executive, the board and I are confident we have ensured continued focus on delivering shareholder value."
Mr Herendeen, who will remain available to Zoetis to facilitate a smooth transition of duties, was thanked for his contributions to the company over the last two years.
