Zoetis names new UK equine account manager

Zoetis has announced the appointment of Becky Disney as its new account manager for equine veterinary practices in the central and northern regions of the UK.

Ms Disney will work with practices across the north Midlands and northern England, offering product and business support for the Zoetis pharmaceutical range, including sedatives, anaesthetics, analgesics, anthelmintics and vaccines.

She can boast extensive experience in the field of veterinary pharmaceutical and consultative sales, and also has considerable expertise in looking after horses, having begun her career as a groom at a thoroughbred stud farm.

Ms Disney subsequently obtained a degree in equine sports science before working in sales for an equine retail wholesaler, and has since worked within the veterinary sales industry for seven years.

Zoetis' equine product manager Penny McCann said: "Becky has already become a valuable member of our team. She brings considerable experience with her knowledge of the equestrian and pharmaceutical sectors and really enhances the service we provide to equine veterinary practices."
