Going for Gold at this year’s PM Society Awards

7th February 2019

On the 1st February, the Pharma and Healthcare Communications left behind the snowy hills of Buckinghamshire to join pharmaceutical and Healthcare strategy and communication agencies at this year’s PM Society awards in a cold, but rainy London.

This was the 33rd Annual awards taking place at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel, with the event taking place at lunchtime rather than in the evening. The event is one of the largest in the industry, and attracts around 900 people across pharmaceutical and agencies.

Following a three course lunch, the awards were hosted by popular stand-up comedians Rob Beckett (who has taken part in shows including 8 out of 10 Cats, and presented All Together Now, and I’m a celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now), and Tom Allen (also a presenter of Bake Off: The Professionals, and a panellist of The Great British Bake Off; an Extra Slice).

This year there were 27 different agencies who received, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for their work, but the company that scooped an impressive 10 Gold Awards was Havas Lynx Group.

“This event always has a great atmosphere and is always a joy to attend,” commented Senior Account Manager Holly Haynes. “It’s great for us to be able to see so many of the agencies and it’s members who we work with be recognised and celebrated for the work that they do within the industry, and see how the sector plans to move forward.”
