Zenopa helps make the world better with a sweater
The festivities really took off in the office on Friday 15th December when the team took part in national Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for Save the Children.
With the countdown to the big day well underway, and with the help of festive baking, the team pulled out all the stops and gave a good selection on Christmas jumpers, some with flashing lights, bells and incredible wintery scenes to help brighten up a very cold day.
Every little helps especially at this time of year and we raised a grand total of £50. Save the Children fund was set up back in 1919 when Eglantyne Jebb was arrested for distributing leaflets with shocking images of children that were affected by famine in Europe. It was after this arrest that she and her sister decided that direct action was needed as campaigning was not enough. Since then Save the Children has grown into a global organisation, and has saved 22.1 million children in 2016 all over the world. The money raised is enough to pay for two kitchen kits for a family in Afghanistan.
If you would like to make a donation to Save the Children this Christmas, you can do so by visiting their website.
