Zenopa sees Red for the British Heart Foundation
September has marked the relaunch of our CSR programme and what better way to kick this off then raising money for the British Heart Foundation. On Friday 2nd September the Zenopa team in both High Wycombe and Leeds, dressed in something red to mark the occasion and dug deep into their pockets to participate in our raffle with the top prize being afternoon tea for 2 and guess how many sweets in the jar. A total of £80 was raised for the charity.
Coronary Heart disease is one of the UK’s biggest killers within the UK. The British Heart Foundation is the largest charity funders of cardiovascular research, who have been helping to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions. Since they were founded in 1961, the charity has gone from strength to strength in leading the fight against cardiovascular disease.
Zenopa’s CSR programme involves charities that are chosen by staff members. This charity was chosen to be represented by Giselle Agim, our newest recruiter to our pharmaceutical division. This is a charity that is very close to her heart and we wanted to help raise awareness for such a worthy cause.
If you would like to make a donation to this worthy cause, you can do so by visiting the charities donation page. Our next fundraising event will take place at the end of September where we will be taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning for McMillan Cancer Research.
