28th April 2017

Each year the team at Zenopa part take in a physical challenge that requires determination, team building and an opportunity to give back to the community. Previous challenges have included National 3 Peaks, the Isle of Wight, and the Wye 100.
This year, the team have decided to grab their walking boots, Kendal mint cake and raincoats to take part in the Chiltern Three Peaks Challenge, raising money Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
The Chiltern 3 Peaks is a sponsored walk offering the choice of a 5, 9 or 18 mile route through the beautiful Chiltern country side along the Ridgeway National Trail. All participants from Zenopa have signed up to walk the full 18 miles, covering Princes Risborough, Whiteleaf Cross, Coombe Hill and Ivinghoe Beacon.
We’re fortunate enough to live in an area that is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty’ comments Managing Director Mark Denton, “The Chiltern 3 Peaks is a great opportunity to push the team in their fitness levels, as well as take in the beautiful scenery in which so many of us take for granted, and all for a worthwhile cause
Rennie Grove Hospice Care was formed in 2011 when two hospice charities joined forces; Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and Grove House. Both charities had very similar values and felt they would benefit more by joining together. The charity provides support and care within the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire area to both adults and children who have been diagnosed with life limiting illnesses (including cancer) and their families. Through the charity, thousands of patients are able to choose how and where they will be cared for thanks to the range of 24/7 responsive care services available, and families are provided with the support they need both during the illness and after bereavement.
Fancy taking part in the challenge too?

The Chiltern 3 Peaks takes place on Sunday 10th September starting in Princes Risborough, and finishing in Ivinghoe Beacon. You can register your details and find out more information about the event here.
