Role Overview

We are seeking an AAT Qualified finance professional who is keen to continue developing their finance career and further their studies in the field.
A study package will be on offer with planned progression based on agreed performance metrics and continued exam qualification.

This position could suit
· A Finance Executive or Accounts Assistant with strong transactional accounting experience looking to grow into a management role.

You will receive full training and ongoing support from our Finance Director, ensuring you have the knowledge, tools, and guidance to excel in your role and grow with the company.

Our head office is located in Penn, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Zenopa Ltd offers all roles on either a 4 or 5 day working week.

Role Requirements

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for UK and US entities.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
· Manage the bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
· Process payroll and sales bonus calculations for the UK team.
· Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure correct reconciliations between UK and US offices.
· Prepare and present financial reports to the senior leadership team under the guidance of the finance director.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
· Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and tax requirements.
· Support the firm’s interim and annual audits with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors

Person Specifications

· Proven experience in a finance role (transactional and internal management reporting).
· Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices
· Experience managing intercompany financial transactions is desirable.
· Ideally, experience within a service-based business is preferred but not essential.
· Proficiency with accounting software, QuickBooks or similar is essential.
· An AAT or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential. Strong QBE will also be considered.
· Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
· Advanced user of Microsoft suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· A keen eye for automating processes and presenting ideas for efficiencies.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.

· Basic salary of up to £40,000
