Business Development Executive
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive role is focused on presenting our leading-edge pharmacy technology solutions to prospective new customers. This will be the primary focus although there will be opportunity to promote new services into existing relationships.
Company Information
– The business sells technology solutions into the community pharmacy market.
– Our solutions allow pharmacies to process prescriptions, dispense medicines, manage stock, place orders and generate reports.
– The business is well established (30 years), employs over 100 staff, with a good reputation in the sector.
Role Requirements
– Prospecting for new business opportunities over the phone
– Thorough qualification of the opportunities uncovered
– Setting up new business appointments for the territory Account Managers
– Ensuring that our data is up to date and key information captured in the CRM system
– Working to agreed performance targets
– Accurate reporting and pipeline management
– Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to maximise opportunities
– Work cross functionally with other departments
Person Specifications
– Demonstrable experience of success in an equivalent B2B sales role – minimum 1 years
– Target driven
– Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
– Customer first attitude
– Must be a self-motivated team player, able to work flexibly
– Proactive approach and ability to demonstrate attention to detail
Package
£22,000-£25,000/Annum Basic Salary (subject to experience)
£Excellent OTE Commission Scheme
25 Days (+Stats) Holiday 1 additional day for each full year served (max 30 days)
