Role Overview
This Business Development Manager position is responsible for leading the growth of an infectious disease diagnostics portfolio across NHS hospitals, NHS community services, and private healthcare providers within Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset. This is a strategic, field-based role requiring 75% travel and residence within the territory.
Operating within a culture grounded in scientific innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration, you will drive regional market leadership in point-of-care molecular diagnostics. The focus is on delivering sustainable revenue growth by aligning clinically robust solutions with real-world service needs.

Role Requirements
Develop and execute structured strategic business plans across the defined territory.
Drive revenue growth within NHS and private healthcare accounts.
Engage and influence clinical, operational, and procurement stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, market access, and sales teams to deliver aligned regional strategies.
Provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting.
Initiate and lead regional projects to support market development.
Person Specifications
Strong sales experience within diagnostics or medical devices.
In-depth understanding of the NHS and private healthcare landscape.
Demonstrated track record of delivering profitable growth.
Commercially driven, technically credible, and comfortable engaging senior healthcare stakeholders.
Must live within the defined territory.
