Digital Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
Take ownership of the installation, maintenance, and ongoing performance of diagnostic imaging systems across the London region. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, supporting clinical users, and ensuring imaging equipment operates safely and effectively within demanding healthcare environments.

Role Requirements
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of X-Ray imaging systems and wider digital imaging equipment, ensuring reliable system performance.
Diagnose and resolve faults across electrical, electronic, and software systems using structured troubleshooting methods.
Install and commission new systems, including site assessments, validations, and performance checks.
Complete planned preventative maintenance activities in line with service agreements and quality standards.
Support system upgrades and modifications, ensuring all technical changes are correctly implemented and documented.
Maintain accurate service documentation and provide technical support to customers and internal teams while working within ISO and regulatory requirements.
Person Specifications
Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer within healthcare or medical devices advantageous.
Experience working with ultrasound systems highly desirable.
Electrical or electronic engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, or equivalent preferred.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability across complex systems.
Experience servicing and maintaining capital equipment.
Basic IT and networking knowledge within Windows-based environments beneficial.
Strong communication skills with the ability to support clinical users effectively.
Comfortable managing workload independently across a regional territory.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
