Buyer/Procurement Specialist
Role Overview
This is an opportunity for an experienced Buyer to support the procurement and delivery of medical equipment for a major international healthcare project. You will play a key role in coordinating suppliers, managing procurement activities, and ensuring equipment is delivered efficiently and compliantly to healthcare facilities across developing markets.
Please note that this is a 2 year FTC role.

Role Requirements
Manage purchase orders and supplier communications throughout the procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project requirements.
Source quotations, review supplier proposals, and support procurement decisions aligned with project objectives.
Monitor deliveries and coordinate closely with logistics partners to ensure equipment reaches project sites in line with agreed schedules.
Build and maintain effective supplier relationships across the medical device and healthcare supply chain.
Ensure procurement documentation, export requirements, and project records are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with project standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of international healthcare projects and procurement objectives.
Person Specifications
Essential:
Previous experience within a Buyer, Procurement Officer, Purchasing Officer, or similar procurement role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
Experience within medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or a regulated industry.
CIPS qualification (Level 3 or above).
Understanding of procurement compliance and documentation processes.
Experience supporting international supply chains or export activities.
