Customer Success Engineer
Role Overview
As a Service Engineer within the Customer Success team, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, servicing, maintenance, and performance of Hallmarq’s MRI and CT imaging systems.
This is a hybrid engineering role combining hands-on field service with remote technical support. You will diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and system-level issues, work closely with customers worldwide, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery. The role offers significant technical development, international exposure, and a clear pathway for progression into senior or leadership roles.

Role Requirements
Diagnose potential faults through talking to the customers
Plan an emergency service visit and advise the account manager so that visits can be scheduled with the customer
Visit site to correctly diagnose the issues
Fix emergency and non-routine issues in a timely manner
Liaise with other members of the Customer Success Team as necessary to ensure all issues can be rectified, such as calibrating the magnet jointly
Carry out all routine maintenance visits in a timely manner in line with Customer Service Level Agreements, maintaining and fixing all hardware to ensure that scanners continue to operate at optimum levels
Monitor the performance of installed systems, revising maintenance schedules as necessary to ensure their continued effective performance
Visit customer sites in all locations to perform system upgrades
Ensure that all emergency and routine repairs are carried out as cost-effectively as possible
Ensure that all data is entered in a timely manner into appropriate systems (e.g., Dynamics) to enable effective global communication.
Person Specifications
You may have a:
Engineering, Physics, Biomedical or Scientific degree.
Early-career Field Service Engineer, Systems Engineer or Technical Support Engineer.
Military or hands-on engineering background with strong transferable skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and logical thinking.
Confidence communicating with customers over the phone and on-site.
Comfort working with complex technical systems.
Willingness to travel in the UK and internationally.
Good basic IT and software understanding.
Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn.
