Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing service team supporting bio-decontamination equipment across the UK. The role will involve installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist contamination control systems used within pharmaceutical, healthcare and laboratory environments.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across the territory, with overnight stays often required during the working week.

Role Requirements
Carry out service, installation, calibration and repair of bio-decontamination equipment
Perform planned preventative maintenance in accordance with service schedules
Respond to breakdown calls and carry out fault diagnosis and repair
Follow service, installation and repair procedures in line with company standards
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within agreed response times
Maintain accurate service reports and documentation following site visits
Build strong working relationships with customers across life science and healthcare environments
Person Specifications
Experience servicing or maintaining electro-mechanical equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Previous field service engineering experience preferred
Backgrounds such as life science equipment, medical devices, laboratory equipment or military engineering are highly desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage a field-based workload
Full UK driving licence and valid passport required
Willingness to travel and stay away during the working week when required
