Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
We are currently supporting a specialist organisation within the medical decontamination and infection control sector in the search for a Field Service Engineer covering the East Midlands, primarily Nottingham. In this role, you will install, service, maintain, and repair decontamination equipment used within hospital sterile services and endoscopy departments, helping ensure critical infection control systems operate reliably across healthcare environments.

Role Requirements
Service, maintain, and repair decontamination equipment within hospital environments.
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to breakdown service calls.
Install and commission specialist equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform corrective repairs.
Ensure systems operate in line with healthcare compliance and safety standards.
Maintain accurate service documentation and reports following site visits.
Person Specifications
Experience servicing washer disinfectors or decontamination equipment.
Experience working within hospital sterile services or healthcare environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of HTM-2030 or HTM-01-06 standards is preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability.
Field service engineering experience within capital equipment environments.
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with healthcare customers.
Full UK driving licence.
