Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
This is a field-based role mainly focussed on the SE England area. At times you may be expected to travel around Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey. At times there may be a need to travel to customer sites outside of this area depending on your work schedule. A car or van will be provided along with necessary tools and IT equipment.

Role Requirements
Reporting to the Field Service Manager, your missions will consist of:
• Carry out on-site preventive maintenance visits and electrical / mechanical fault finding of equipment including our range of water treatment and other laboratory systems, repairs and emergency response visits
• Carry out commissioning and installation work on water treatment and other laboratory equipment (such as Lab water products, CO2 Incubators, autoclaves and air flow cabinets) and provide after-sales technical and commercial support.
• Work from technical documents (installation manuals, maintenance manuals, etc.)
• Complete required service documentation to the required level. Complete call reports.
• Work within a team to provide best customer experience, communicate with our Service Office team daily
• Maintain car stock inventory of spare parts
• Following Health and Safety Procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
Person Specifications
We’re keen to bring new people and ideas into the team; some or all of the following could be expected of you:
• NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or similar, or proven experience.
• A full UK driving license is required.
• Experience of working as a Service Engineer or in a field based technical support role is essential.
• Working knowledge of electrical / mechanical equipment is essential
• Experience with the types of listed equipment would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare and Scientific market is desirable but not essential.
• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers.
• A professional and diligent approach to your work and communication with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on your own
Package
Salary dependant on experience – Speak to Tom
£1700 bonus
