Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
You will install, maintain, and repair chromatography systems, support customers on-site, and collaborate with sales to ensure excellent service and promote growth across your territory.

Role Requirements
Provide technical support, maintenance, repairs, and installations for chromatography systems across the assigned territory.
Deliver on-site assistance and basic training for HPLC and flash systems with UV and ELSD detection.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying service enhancements and proposing development initiatives.
Collaborate with sales to support customer satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth.
Support UK-wide operations with flexibility to travel outside the primary region.
Engage in team meetings and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless service delivery.
Person Specifications
Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent technical background/experience.
Experience working with business software systems (e.g., reporting or service management tools).
Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
Confident working independently in a field-based role.
Strong communicator with a positive, customer-first mindset.
Energetic, proactive, and an active team player.
Willing to comply with company processes and values.
Package
Up to £45,000 (Dependant on experience).
£2,000-£5,000 bonus per annum, based on service department revenue (paid quarterly).
Company Car.
Pension: 6% employer / 3% employee contributions.
Laptop and mobile phone provided.
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
37.5 hours per week (9am-5pm).
