Role Overview

You will be providing support in the form of; training, installation, instrument validation and telephone assistance for the expanding Flow Cytometry customer base.

Are you an experienced Application Specialist with experience with Flow Cytometry or a driven Biomedical Scientist with Flow Cytometry experience?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a market leading healthcare and diagnostics supplier as a Flow Cytometry Product Specialist.

Role Requirements

· Engage in telephone and email support for the Customer Support Centre with the aim to resolve customer queries.
· Provide onsite support to customer base within the UK as required.
· Software upgrades for all Flow Cytometry analysers to be completed.
· Work with customers and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) teams to interface Flow Cytometry solutions.
· Engage in telephone support for site IT related issues and escalate to the appropriate internal IT team as required.
· Attend customer sites providing product and application expertise to support the commercial team as required.
· Deliver sales presentations as required.
· Administer and deliver customer training courses both online, on-site.
· Create and deliver webinars.
· Complete onsite validation work at customer sites across the UK.

Person Specifications

· BSc (Hons) degree in a life science subject
· Greater than 3 years’ working experience in a clinical flow cytometry laboratory environment
· Excellent communication skills
· Technical and logical problem-solving capability
· Experience with Microsoft Office
