Role Overview

You will support the delivery of ambitious marketing and communication plans aiming to promote our company and products, to generate sales, opportunities and leads, and to build brand awareness globally. This new position will take a lead on managing our social media channels and organising our presence at international conferences and exhibitions.

Our client is a vibrant, fast-growing company that develops and manufactures a portfolio of high-performing kits and reagents for PCR and related technology. Whether for research, diagnostics or NGS, their products cover a broad range of techniques including real-time PCR, high fidelity PCR, long range PCR, PCR direct from crude samples and molecular diagnostic PCR.

Role Requirements

Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver impactful local and global marketing plans.
Manage social media channels, email campaigns, and online advertising to engage targeted audiences.
Organise and attend international trade shows and events, following up on leads and coordinating with the Sales Team.
Create and support production of high-quality content including technical literature, digital assets, and creative marketing materials.
Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness, continuously improving performance and engagement.
Support sales and distributor marketing efforts, maintain brand consistency, and manage marketing assets and communications.

Person Specifications

A BSc, MSc or PhD in a science subject (ideally PCR or another molecular technique).
Excellent analytical skills.
Advanced IT skills.
A flair for writing, including the ability to write clearly and concisely.
Creativity.
A love for organising things.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
A customer-orientated approach.
