National Clinical Support
Role Overview
The National Clinical Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the national strategy, supporting both commercial growth and clinical excellence across the NHS and private sector. This high-impact national role coordinates product evaluations, delivers clinical education, and provides in-field expertise & support to the team & customers to ensure the successful adoption of innovative wound closure technologies.
You will influence national strategy, support regional teams, and help drive improved patient outcomes through best-in-class products. This is a role with real ownership, visibility and meaningful impact. The role supports both new and existing customers within the clinical environment while ensuring the seamless introduction of new product ranges.

Role Requirements
Oversee and support product evaluations and clinical trials within NHS and private hospital accounts, ensuring effective planning / understanding and maximum product adoption.
Serve as the expert for their portfolio, delivering training and ongoing education to clinicians, nursing staff, distributor teams and new employees in theatre and ward environments.
Maintaining ownership of the clinical training program, collateral and tools to provide and measure successful delivery and uptake.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform and adapt commercial and clinical support strategies.
Person Specifications
Strong understanding of wound closure, wound healing principles, clinical procedures, tissue viability and competitive products.
Proven track record in the medical device market, preferably wound closure or related surgical specialties.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills; confident, articulate and able to build strong relationships.
Ability to work independently, manage projects, maintain business plans and operate effectively in a target-driven environment.
Thorough understanding of secondary care and NHS pathways.
Dynamic, driven, and motivated to develop within medical sales.
Willingness to travel extensively/nationally, including occasional nights away to support customer accounts.
Package
Starting salary £50-55k + bonus
Starting with 27 days annual leave increasing with service + UK bank holidays
