National Sales Leader
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Leader to lead the commercial launch of this innovative neurotechnology product in the UK. This national role will focus on driving adoption within primary and secondary care settings, focused in chronic pain management specialties.
You will work closely with clinical and scientific teams, develop and manage key relationships, and play a critical role in shaping the go-to-market strategy. There is significant autonomy in the role, with potential to build and lead a sales team in the future.
Company Information
Our client is a UK-based company commercialising an innovative neurofeedback headset designed to help patients with severe chronic pain. Originally developed by a multi-national research group with significant investment, this breakthrough device uses brainwave monitoring and neuroplasticity principles to retrain the brain and reduce pain perception, anxiety, depression, and improve sleep quality.
Following recent acquisition of assets from the original research company, the UK-based team is now focused on bringing this second-generation product to market in the UK, with a plan to continue the growth into Europe, and the US.
Role Requirements
Lead national sales efforts to introduce and grow product adoption in primary and secondary care across the UK.
Develop and manage relationships with healthcare providers, NHS decision-makers, and key opinion leaders.
Map and engage existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with CEO as well as the Chief Science Officer to align commercial and clinical objectives.
Plan and manage national travel, including occasional overnight stays.
Provide feedback to product and development, as well as marketing and data teams as the business grows, to support continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of marketing and distribution strategies for UK, EU, and US markets.
Manage clinical appointment set-ups and support performance goals through incentives.
Maintain confidentiality around commercial activities and product developments.
Person Specifications
Proven experience in sales market growth within medtech or pharmaceutical sectors, ideally focused on pain management.
Strong existing networks within primary and secondary healthcare sectors across the UK, specially in the chronic pain speciality.
Familiarity with the treatment of neuropathic pain conditions (e.g., fibromyalgia , sciatica, post -surgery) is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a self-starter mindset and high degree of autonomy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across the UK, including Scotland and Ireland.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment with international expansion goals.
Ideally based anywhere in the UK, with preference for the M40 corridor, London, or South East.
Travel: National UK coverage including occasional travel to Scotland and Ireland
Package
Car allowance (£650/month approx.).
