Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager
Role Overview
The Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager’s primary role is to drive growth and increase sales of our clients Water Quality instrumentation into the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences Markets. The Pharma BDM is responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

Role Requirements
· Responsible for increasing sales growth and installed base in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences markets
· Responsible for achieving/exceeding annual sales targets and objectives for sales in Pharma market.
· Experienced and successful in field-based consultative sales of online analytical instrumentation in the Pharma industry.
· Demonstrated history of Pharmaceutical industry field-based sales experience including regulatory requirements, market trends, and the competitive landscape for on-line water quality instrumentation
· Proactive account management
· Key Account Management experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and an ability to proactively seek new Pharma customers· Develop technical material and presentations for sales opportunities and takes lead on organising kick-off meetings and project management.
Person Specifications
· Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Life Sciences/or a related sciences field (or equivalent Pharma industry experience).
· Minimum of 3 – 5 years of proven track record in Sales/Business Development role or Key/strategic/global Account Management role, including a consistent successful record in sales and consultative solution selling or a combination of highly technical background in Pharma and sales experience.
· Experience with sales of analytical instrumentation is preferred.
· Knowledge of Pharma water systems and water quality online instrumentation used in Pharma Market.
· Full, valid, clean driving licence and ability to travel extensively within the UK.
