As the R&D Team Leader you will support the new product delivery activity of the company.

Excellent opportunity for a PhD educated Scientist with both people management and industrial Life Science experience as a R&D Team Leader in Molecular Biology.

Role Requirements

– Line Management (Manage a team of scientists)
– Manage planning and execution of lab work.
– Manage projects and ensure timely progress and delivery.
– Prepare, deliver and present technical reports or project updates.
– Provide technical leadership to the team.
– Continuous monitoring and improvement of transfer processes to QC or Production.
– Facilitate team member development.

Person Specifications

– PhD and experience in Life Science industry
– At least or equivalent to 2 years’ experience in team management and performance evaluation
– Prior experience with ISO13485 or similar is desirable
– Hands-on experience in enzymatic or diagnostic assay development and troubleshooting
– Expertise in a broad range of molecular biology techniques with good understanding in qPCR/PCR assay design
– Experience with statistical analysis and/or Design of Experiments methodologies
