Sales Consultant
Role Overview
Our client is looking for a competitive Sales consultant to help customers identify and purchase consumable products either on the website or directly. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.
Reporting into the Sales Manager, the Sales consultant will be a proactive part of the sales team, ensuring that all outstanding orders are processed on the system, manage the consumable sales in terms of marketing the range of consumables to the customer base and new business development .
The role would also involve working with the team and providing support in terms of cold calls and responding to customer objections.

Role Requirements
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
· Ascertain customers’ needs and provide solutions
· Recommend items that match customer needs
· Manage point-of-sale processes
· Keep up to date with product information
· Accurately describe product features and benefits
· Cold call customers and offer products and services
· Manage and ensure order are put on the system in a timely manner
· Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to stimulate growth in sales
Person Specifications
· Demonstrate working experience and success in a Sales consultation role
· Apply a methodical and organised approach to work
· Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
· Solid communication and interpersonal skills
· Customer service focus
· Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
· Basic administration skills
· Attentive and Proactive
· Ability to work as part of a team
· 2 years’ experience in a similar role
· Working effectively with minimum supervision
· Experience with Microsoft platforms, including Microsoft Word and Excel
