Territory Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Territory Manager to drive new business acquisition while developing and managing existing customer relationships across a UK territory.
This is a hybrid role combining new business development with long-term account management. You will work with analytical laboratories across industrial, manufacturing, and research environments, identifying where chromatography consumables and laboratory solutions can improve performance, consistency, and cost efficiency. The role offers autonomy to shape your territory approach while taking full ownership of revenue growth and customer engagement.
Company Information
Our client is a growing, privately owned business operating within the scientific consumables space, supplying chromatography products and laboratory solutions to analytical laboratories across the UK.
The organisation has a close-knit, collaborative culture where individuals are encouraged to contribute ideas and take ownership of their work. With clear growth plans over the next two to three years, the business is investing in its commercial capability, creating an environment where technically credible sales professionals can have a direct impact on both customer outcomes and company performance. The focus is on practical, solution-led selling rather than volume-driven transactions.
Role Requirements
Identify and secure new business opportunities within analytical laboratories, building a strong and sustainable customer base across the territory.
Develop and manage a structured pipeline, converting prospects into long-term customers through consistent follow-up and engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, supporting retention and ongoing revenue growth.
Promote a portfolio of chromatography consumables, including HPLC and GC columns, alongside associated laboratory products, positioning them in line with customer application needs.
Deliver product demonstrations and technical discussions, providing consultative support to ensure solutions are aligned with laboratory workflows.
Plan and manage territory activity effectively, including customer visits, forecasting, CRM updates, and representation at industry events.
