Regional Business Specialist
Role Overview
As a Regional Business Specialist, you will take ownership of developing new business opportunities across the North West, driving growth within a territory rich with potential customers across industrial, academic, and commercial laboratory environments. This is a consultative, field-based sales role focused on building long-term customer relationships, understanding analytical challenges, and demonstrating the value of advanced instrumentation solutions.

Role Requirements
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the North West territory, building a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
Conduct proactive customer outreach, including cold calling and territory development activity, to generate new opportunities.
Manage the full sales process from initial engagement through to successful project completion and order close.
Build and maintain relationships with customers across academia, industrial organisations, and commercial laboratories.
Promote a portfolio of analytical instrumentation solutions, including chromatography and spectroscopy technologies.
Deliver presentations and product discussions, working alongside technical specialists where required to support customer needs.
Person Specifications
Experience in chemistry sales or a strong technical laboratory background within analytical chemistry.
Commercially minded with the ability to communicate technical value effectively to a range of stakeholders.
Comfortable developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships independently.
Strong communication, organisation, and territory management skills.
Motivated by building long-term customer partnerships and achieving commercial objectives.
Package
Basic salary £35,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
Bonus scheme with approximately £10,000 OTE.
Additional incentive scheme worth up to £5,000.
7% employer pension contribution.
Company car, including hybrid vehicle option and six-month hire car during probation.
Fuel allowance with opt-out option for personal fuel benefit.
Mobile phone and laptop provided.
