Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing UK service team supporting customers across the South of England.
Initially, you’ll provide installation, preventative maintenance, validation, breakdown repair and technical support on a range of HPLC, UPLC, Prep LC and SFC systems, with structured training allowing progression onto LCMS instrumentation over time.
This is a customer-facing role where you’ll work closely with pharmaceutical companies, NHS laboratories, universities, biotechnology organisations and research facilities, ensuring customers receive first-class technical support

Role Requirements
Installation and commissioning of analytical instrumentation
Preventative maintenance visits
Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs
IQ/OQ/PQ validation
Customer training following installation
Accurate completion of service reports
Managing spare parts and vehicle stock
Delivering excellent customer service across your territory
Person Specifications
We’re keen to hear from:
Field Service Engineers with HPLC experience
Analytical Scientists
QC Analysts
Laboratory Technicians with strong hands-on HPLC experience looking to transition into Field Service
Requirements:
Hands-on HPLC experience (essential)
Based in and around Oxfordshire
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Experience within a GLP/GMP environment is advantageous
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to travel across the South of England with occasional overnight stays and overseas training

£35,000–£45,000 basic salary
