We ‘did our thing’ for Children in Need
Back in November Zenopa went comfy for the day to help raise money for BBC’s Children in Need.
On Friday the 18th November, the team at both our High Wycombe and Leeds offices came to work in comfy clothing. The team embraced the brief co-ordinated by the fundraising team, ranging from tracksuit bottoms, onesies to full on Pyjamas with dressing gown and slippers. Cupcakes in Pudsey themed colours were supplied to mark the occasion and bring in some extra donations.
Children in Need is a well-known BBC corporate charity with a vision to ensure that every child within the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood. The late Sir Terry Wogan was the Life President of the charity who witnessed tens of thousands of projects be supported since it was launched. All the money raised and donated is given to projects within the UK that focus on disadvantages children and young people. Children in Need is currently supporting 2,400 projects across the UK.
We at Zenopa manged to raise a grand total of £50 for the charity, who so far have managed to raise £46,624,259 for 2016, and the money is still coming in from different fundraisers.
