I have always liked to challenge myself. With over twelve years of specialist recruitment experience, all of which were spent placing Executive candidates into senior and board level roles, my objective is always to put forward the perfect candidate for the perfect role.
I look after the Medical Devices Executive division within Zenopa which covers Marketing and Sales Management vacancies up to Director Level as well as Head Office vacancies too. Having built up a very successful medical devices division in the UK, for the past two years I have been focused on growing our overseas offering, recruiting European candidates into roles within Europe.
After the successful placement of a Marketing Manager for a highly respected international medical devices company who have a base in the UK, I approached the HR business partner in the Netherlands to see if we could offer our services as a European Recruiter.
And the result?
For this initial engagement, we searched 215 CV’s from which we put forward six candidates. All six achieved a first interview. On the strength of the candidates we put forward, a number of them were selected for a final interview and two of them offered a job; indeed forcing the company to create an extra position due to the high quality of the candidates. The entire process from sending CV’s to the candidates being offered the position took only three weeks.
Since then, our offering has expanded significantly. Over the past two years Zenopa has gone from recruiting only in the UK to having German, French and Spanish vacancies and translations on our website and over the past twelve months, the division has shown significant growth.
I am extremely passionate about getting it right and nothing screams satisfaction more than the successful placement of a candidate within a great organisation. It’s even more exciting to be able to do that across multiple countries each with their own slight cultural differences. I put this success down to our ethos, here at Zenopa, of working at the highest level of integrity with both our clients and candidates.
