Business Development Manager
Role Overview
This is a high-autonomy, field-based role with responsibility for growing the business and maintaining strong relationships with private healthcare professionals. You will work independently, managing your own diary and territory, while building trust with surgeons, consultants, and hospitals.

Role Requirements
Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, consultants, private practices, and hospitals.
Identify clients’ current insurance arrangements and provide tailored solutions.
Attend hospitals, events, and medical seminars to generate leads and maintain visibility.
Support renewals and after-sales activity to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
Complete consultant application forms and liaise with internal teams to obtain quotes.
Manage your own diary, pipeline, and territory independently.
Provide policy comparisons and consultative advice, emphasising client needs.
Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth application and claims processes.
Person Specifications
Experience in medical device sales/business development.
Ideally has theatre sales experience or existing surgeon relationships.
Consultative, sales-driven, and commercially minded.
Friendly, approachable, and confident in dealing with senior healthcare professionals.
Persistent and able to follow through on application forms and client interactions.
