Business Operations Manager
Role Overview
Lead and optimise UK business operations within a regulated medical devices environment. You will partner closely with commercial teams to ensure operational alignment, support tender success, and enable consistent delivery across hospital and procurement channels.
Based in Oxford.
Hybrid working model with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office (typically 2 days).
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Role Requirements
Lead, coach, and develop the Business Operations team to maintain performance and ensure continuity across commercial support functions.
Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and system optimisation, aligning workflows with business needs.
Manage stakeholder relationships across UK and international teams, including coordination with external partners.
Align operational delivery with sales strategy, forecasts, and wider business objectives.
Oversee tender processes, ensuring full compliance with UK procurement regulations including NHS frameworks, Net Zero, and Social Value requirements.
Manage SAP and Salesforce systems, ensuring data accuracy, reporting integrity, and effective use across the business, while maintaining compliance with pharmacovigilance requirements and supporting operational projects, supply chain alignment, and service delivery.
Person Specifications
Experience within the pharmaceutical or medical devices sector, ideally in business or sales operations.
Strong background in procurement, tender management, and regulatory compliance on the supplier side.
Working knowledge of NHS procurement frameworks, including Net Zero and Social Value requirements.
Experience using SAP and CRM systems, with Salesforce preferred.
Proven leadership capability with a coaching approach to team development.
Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and international teams.
Ability to translate commercial strategy into operational execution.
Degree-level education desirable but not essential.
Package
Salary £50,000 £60,000 with 10% discretionary bonus.
9% employer pension contribution and private medical insurance post-probation.
£500 annual wellbeing or gym allowance and subsidised on-site restaurant.
Regular social events and hybrid working (typically 2 days in the office).
