Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this Technical Specialist role provides structured pre- and post-sales application support across advanced pharmaceutical testing systems. You will lead equipment installations, including IQ/OQ validation, and deliver technical training to ensure customers operate systems accurately and compliantly.

Working within a culture that values scientific rigour, practical problem-solving, and technical credibility, you will act as a subject matter expert for customers and internal teams. International travel is required (approximately 30%).

Role Requirements

Deliver equipment installations, upgrades, and IQ/OQ validation in line with regulatory standards.

Provide structured technical support and resolve customer application issues.

Develop and deliver customer and distributor training programmes, both in-person and online.

Support Sales with technical input for quotations and product demonstrations.

Contribute to technical papers, presentations, and supporting materials.

Represent customer feedback internally to support ongoing product development and improvement.

Person Specifications

Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.

Experience working within regulated frameworks (GMP, GLP, ISO 9001).

Strong communication, presentation, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Organised, adaptable, and comfortable with international travel.

Full clean driving licence and strong IT proficiency.
