Company Information

New design engineer vacancy with an OEM that specialise on a comprehensive range of clean air equipment. The company has since grown rapidly to become the UK’s market leader in Class I,II&III Microbiological Safety Cabinets.

Role Requirements

Duties and responsibilities
– Producing technical drawings of set designs using computer aided software design programmes (AutoCAD)
– Working extensively with sheet metal and solid works with clients in the contained air industry in laboratory environments
– Creating concept designs for clients
– First 12 months will be extensive training on site

Person Specifications

– At least two years in mechanical design projects.
– Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
– Proficient computer skills including usage of Outlook and Microsoft packages.
– Fully proficient with Solid Works, 3D drafting package.
– Exceptional customer service and problem-solving can-do attitude
– Self-starter, able to work independently as well as within a team
– HNC in mechanical engineering is ideal but not necessary
– Happy to travel once trained

Package

– Salary dependent on experience
– Company car (after 12 months training on site)
– Bonus (£500 per annum)
– 5% Pension
– 25 Days Holiday + BH
