DSO and Product Specialist
Role Overview
Job description:
The role has dual priorities covering activity with key DSO Groups and a more traditional sales role working as part of a team of Product Specialists. Each element of the role would be split approximately 50/50 in respect of time required to complete relevant objectives. Ideally the candiate would be located in the West Midlands / Central / East Midlands / Cheshire / Staffordshire area. The role would be primarily customer focused, with a need to travel to the Manchester based office 2-3 times per month.
DSO commercial lead for the UK.
Working to support existing business within DSO’s and critically grow and win new business is the focus of this part of the role. This will involve creating partnerships at the highest levels (clinical, procurement and operational) within targeted DSO groups and positioning their market leading range of biomateirals as the first choice for clinicians within the group.
Product Specialist
A more traditional sales role, working in a team of Product Specialists managing a number of customers and accounts, whilst providing the appropriate level of clinical and educational support to the therapy area and associated products.

Role Requirements
Key responsibilities & Duties:
– Generation of agreed sales targets (both for a defined sales territory and for the DSO business).
– Delivery of agreed relevant customer based activity (both day to day customer contact and with agreed key stakeholders within DSO groups).
– Development of strong relationships within agreed DSO target groups.
– Effective input into the company CRM system, effective analysis using Power BI.
– Creation of a 1 year DSO ‘Strategy for growth plan’ and a local territory business plan.
– Delivery of high standards of customer service
– Provision of all internal reporting processes and procedures and adherence of company SOPs
– Organise or support educational events
Person Specifications
– The candidate will make a very strong first impression, of being professional and confident, but also engaging, quickly building comfortable rapport.
– They will have experience in health care / medical device sales – ideally from a dental or dental implant background and experience of working with DSO groups.
– They can demonstrate active listening skills, answering questions succinctly, whilst also seeking clarity and using their own questioning skills to uncover relevant information. They can make their points in a compelling and articulate manner, using appropriate evidence or anecdotes.
– They will be able to demonstrate a successful career history, showing progression and success to date. They will have been a strong performer within their organisations delivering outstanding performances through the application of sound business skills. They will be able to fully demonstrate the skills listed on their CV’s to a high level, especially around planning, analysis and most importantly a real desire for success and self-drive.
– They will understand the need to provide unsurpassable customer service in all areas.
