Role Overview

You will install configures, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical equipment for laboratory customers across New York.

Zenopa is partnered with a company that has been in the laboratory equipment refurbishment business for over two decades, and has dealt with analytical equipment from all of the main OEMs, such as Agilent, Shimadzu, and ThermoFisher Scientific. They provide high-quality instrumentation products and services to labs internationally.

Role Requirements

Service and install analytical equipment for customers, obtaining technical support as needed.
Research and answer customer questions about product features, issues, and upgrades.
Complete written service report (work orders) of work performed.
Advise Director of Operations of any problems or conditions that could affect productivity.
Refurbish, repair and test pumps, generators, compressors, and accessories.
Continuously upgrade skills to keep up with the changing technology.

Person Specifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or two to four years related experience and/or training.
Experience in instrumentation troubleshooting and repair of analytical equipment, accessories and peripheral devices associated with the equipment.
Demonstrate proficiency in one of the following areas: LC/MS, Agilent, Shimadzu, Waters, Thermo; and understanding of pumps, generators and autosamplers.
Clean and Valid Driver’s License, NYS preferred.
