They are looking for a flexible and eager Engineer who is willing to learn and grow their technical skill set.
Role Requirements
To provide total engineering and technical support to customers nationwide and Product Specialists/Technical Specialists. This Field Service Engineer (FSE) will manage a programme of preventative maintenance for the South East and control a local inventory of spare parts.
· Provide support on a range of IVD products
· Diagnose, repair, and test faulty instruments promptly.
· Install new instruments, performing IQ/OQ procedures where needed.
· Deliver scheduled preventive maintenance for customer equipment.
· Maintain high-quality service aligned with company standards.
· Collaborate closely with all Technical Services staff.
· Maintain strong communication with Product Group teams.
· Work regularly with Help Line Specialists and Service Coordinators.
· Build strong working relationships with local Field Service Engineers and Product Specialists.
Person Specifications
· Strong technical competence in Engineering or Scientific fields.
· Ability to work well under pressure.
· Proficient IT skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong planning and organisational abilities.
· Analytical mindset with an interest in problem solving.
· Positive and helpful attitude.
· Willingness and flexibility to travel (can include international travel)
Package
· £45,000 – £50,000 dependent on experience
· 10% bonus based on company and personal objectives
