Role Overview
You will provide installation, maintenance, and technical support for high-precision laboratory equipment. You will work directly with customers across the UK and Ireland, ensuring systems are installed, serviced, and supported to the highest standards.

Role Requirements
Liaise with customers and colleagues to plan and prepare sites ahead of installations.
Install, configure, test, and validate laboratory instrumentation to certifiable standards.
Deliver basic operator training post-installation and provide remote technical troubleshooting support.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and resolve technical issues.
Support the sales team by running samples, assisting with method development, and producing technical reports.
Keep technical knowledge current by staying informed about evolving hardware and software solutions.
Person Specifications
Minimum qualification: HNC/HND Level 4 or equivalent in engineering, electronics, or a related field.
Experience in a laboratory environment is essential.
Strong IT skills and confidence in interpreting electronic drawings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
Professional image with high personal presentation standards.
Willingness to travel frequently across the UK & Ireland.
Full, valid UK driving licence.
Ideally based within 1 hour of Boldon, Tyne & Wear.
