Role Overview

Based in Maidenhead. You will be responsible for elevating the brands profile as a leading global corporate citizen in line with our Sustainability Plan. You will work with the UK leadership team and various Corporate stakeholders including the Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability team, to identify opportunities, develop strategies and co-ordinate the execution/implementation of ESG programs across numerous sites and businesses in the UK.

Role Requirements

– Responsible for developing the UK business’ sustainability and ESG expertise and knowledge in key areas.
– You will support the team to build our expertise and understanding of climate scenarios, climate science and other areas of corporate governance as these evolve, and help to translate this to be relevant to the health tech sector
– Working collaboratively across the organisation, with all stakeholders, you will drive UK ESG strategy and project manage the delivery of ESG actions across the organisation.

Person Specifications

– Bachelor’s degree required.
– Previous experience in large global institution ideally in a role with climate change relevance, with ESG and sustainability experience.
– Deep understanding of ESG and sustainability and experience or knowledge of climate scenarios, decarbonisation pathways and other relevant climate change experience.
– Proven written, verbal, and problem-solving skills and demonstrated success in developing and executing ESG and sustainability plans that impact reputation.
– Strong critical thinking skills; ability to distill complex information, apply learnings, build business plans, and work in matrix environment
– Experience working with senior leaders. Ability to influence and build relationships and trust with internal clients, and other key stakeholders.
