Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Key / National Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of major UK customer accounts. The role focuses on driving profitable growth across national and key accounts within grocery and retail channels, while building strong, long-term customer partnerships.

Our client is a well-established and growing consumer healthcare business with a strong presence across the UK grocery and retail channel. The company partners closely with major retailers including Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and other leading multiples, supplying trusted OTC and wellness brands that are well recognised by consumers.

Role Requirements

Manage and develop assigned key and national customer accounts across multiple sectors.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring all account requirements are met effectively.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within each account.

Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities within existing customers and developing new business.

Manage forecasting and demand planning for allocated accounts.

Identify range gaps and opportunities to introduce additional products.

Maintain full responsibility for account performance, including commercial outcomes and profitability.

Person Specifications

Proven experience managing key or national accounts within the FMCG sector.

Strong understanding of the UK grocery and retail landscape.

Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibility for customer accounts.

Commercially minded with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work on a hybrid basis, with two days per week in the Chiswick office.

Package

Salary: Approximately £45,000 base salary
Bonus: Up to 15% performance-related bonus (dependent on experience)
Annual Leave: 25 days per year
