Regional Business Specialist
Role Overview
The Regional Business Specialist will be responsible for driving new business growth across a high-potential and customer-dense territory in the North West region. This is a field-based, hunter-style sales role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting new customers within the scientific and analytical marketplace.
The territory offers significant untapped opportunity, with a strong base of existing and prospective clients. The successful candidate will take ownership of developing the region, proactively generating leads and building a sustainable pipeline.
This role sits within a collaborative regional team structure, reporting into senior leadership and working alongside both commercial and technical specialists.

Role Requirements
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the assigned territory
Conduct high-volume outreach, including cold calling
Manage and grow a pipeline of prospects through to close
Build strong relationships with customers across academia, industry, and commercial laboratories
Sell a portfolio of analytical instrumentation, including chromatography (LC, GC) and spectroscopy solutions
Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, supported by technical specialists where required
Person Specifications
You need to have experience in chemistry sales or work in a lab with a strong technical background within this sector.
Package
£35k-£50k (flex)
Bonus approx £10,000k OTE
Additional incentives – £5k
Pension contribution – 7% employer contribution
