Role Overview

This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity responsible for shaping and driving the sales strategy of a growing organisation operating across the medical technology sector. You will lead the commercial function through its next phase of growth, strengthening sales performance, developing high-performing teams, and expanding strategic relationships across healthcare and other regulated customer environments.

Role Requirements

Develop and execute the commercial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth across the medical technology portfolio and wider business.
Lead, coach, and develop a multi-divisional sales team, driving consistency, accountability, and strong commercial execution across product and service lines.
Oversee pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM utilisation to support informed decision-making and commercial performance.
Strengthen equipment sales performance while ensuring effective management of complex sales opportunities and long-term customer relationships.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with NHS organisations, procurement teams, and other regulated customers, supporting the successful acquisition and management of major contracts and frameworks.
Work closely with senior leadership to support business planning, budgeting, commercial strategy, and long-term growth objectives.

Person Specifications

Significant senior sales leadership experience within medical devices, healthcare technology, scientific, technical, or other highly regulated sectors.
Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and leading successful sales teams through periods of expansion.
Experience securing and managing complex contracts, tenders, and framework agreements.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue performance, margins, forecasting, and sales planning activities.
Data-driven and structured approach to sales leadership, performance management, and business development.
Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at both customer and executive leadership level.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively within a growing and evolving organisation.
