Sales & Technical Support Co-ordinator
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline who wants to apply their technical knowledge in a customer-facing role.
Working alongside Product Managers and Field Engineers, you will support customers using specialist environmental and water testing instrumentation, including automated chemical analysis and microbiological monitoring systems.
The role begins as an office-based position, allowing you to develop product knowledge and technical expertise before progressing into a field-based technical role involving demonstrations, customer training and instrument installations across the UK.
Full product and application training will be provided.

Our client is a growing scientific instrumentation company supplying advanced environmental and water testing technologies to customers across the UK. Their solutions are used by water companies, environmental laboratories, food and beverage manufacturers, breweries and other industrial testing organisations to monitor water quality and support analytical testing.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Sales & Technical Support Specialist to join their team in Forest Row.
Role Requirements
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
Respond to technical enquiries and provide application guidance
Prepare quotations and proposals
Maintain CRM records and customer information
Support sales and marketing activities
Develop expertise across the product portfolio
Following training, responsibilities will also include:
Customer demonstrations
Instrument installations
Customer training
Site visits across the UK
Technical presentations
Person Specifications
Desirable Experience
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
Analytical instrumentation
Electrochemistry
UV-Vis Spectroscopy
Fluorescence Spectroscopy
Environmental or water testing
Laboratory-based analysis
Any customer-facing, technical support or commercial experience would also be beneficial.
Essential Requirements
Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Full UK Driving Licence
Full right to work in the UK
Ability to commute to Forest Row, East Sussex
Willingness to undertake occasional UK travel and overnight stays following training
