Account Manager
Role Overview
This national Field Sales role (primarily covering the North and Scotland) is 95% business development and 5% account management, engaging diverse healthcare stakeholders across NHS, private health, and specialist sectors to promote urgent diagnostic solutions, with travel 3–4 days a week and flexibility around working styles.

Unlike competitors, they’re not just replacing existing systems – they’re creating a market with a unique portfolio, including small dry chemistry analysers and specialist solutions for private GPs, NHS teams, football clubs, labs, and community health projects.
Role Requirements
Identify and win new business opportunities across IVD and medical sectors.
Build strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, lab teams, and healthcare stakeholders.
Present, demonstrate, and promote diagnostic solutions in a consultative manner.
Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing deals.
Work collaboratively with applications specialists, marketing, and wider teams.
Provide ongoing support to customers, ensuring successful implementation and satisfaction.
Travel extensively within territory (3-4 days/week), including occasional overnight stays.
Actively contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and fun team culture.
Person Specifications
Proven experience in IVD or medical sales – ideally selling into clinicians.
Degree not essential – personality and results are key.
Team-oriented – willing to “muck in” and support colleagues across regions.
Package
20% OTE (performance-based, capped) bonus.
Company car (Grade 2) or £540 monthly allowance.
6% employer pension contribution (3% employee).
