Digital Technical Support and R&D Specialist
Role Overview
My clients are someone who can advance our 3D printing portfolio, developing new resins for the dental trade that will be sold globally. You will aid the R&D of these new resins, thoroughly test and document each facet of the development life cycle. Once the material is available for sale you will be responsible for the training and support of these new resins in the dental market, creating the supporting documentation and ensuring a steady transition.
Additionally the role will include the support and training of new and experienced 3D printer users on a variety of software and hardware platforms.

Role Requirements
· Taking the lead in setting up dedicated experiments to improve our innovative 3D printing process flows
· 3D printer maintenance and repairs
· Installations of new system sales
· CAD design
· Provide information, advice or guidance to other employees relating to 3D printing
· Evaluating proposed actions on scalability and economics
· Working with a multidisciplinary team covering a broad range of expertise
· Working within a workshop or test laboratory environment as required
· Use creativity; collaborate with other specialists to ensure quick diagnosis of routine problems using effective troubleshooting
· Fully implement all changes to processes, methodology, environment and practice within the department in a positive and supportive manner
Person Specifications
We are looking for a hands-on engineer with a team mentality and a passion for continuous innovation. As we are a multidisciplinary team, an inquisitive mind with broad scientific interests and the willingness to learn will ensure you are a good fit for our working environment.
· Thorough experience of 3D printing incorporating software, hardware, materials and post processing
· Knowledge of the dental trade
· Qualified dental technician
· Ideally previous experience in either an R&D or support based role
· Outstanding planning, organisational, and multi-tasking skills combined with attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks
· A hands-on mentality and the ability to work independently in a highly collaborative R&D environment
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to work in a team environment
