Role Overview

Day to Day in the role wou will be:
– Out in the field around 4 days a week
– Completing product demos
– Product training
– Trouble shooting
– Generating sales leads for the tem

Company Information

We are working with a leading company in the Life Science sector on a really great opportunity! It’s a Field Application Specalist role within the PCR division where you will be supporting Account Managers across the UK with technical and application support and instrument demonstrations for the qPCR & ddPCR range of products, at all stages of the selling process.

Role Requirements

– Working with Account managers to Identify, develop and close sales deals successfully across the region
– Offer post-sales support as well as training new and existing customers on how to use and install the equiptment. Also, to identify competitor instrumentation onto which we might also win business and develop sales.
– Attend, and contribute to, exhibitions and seminars both locally to account managers, and nationally where appropriate.
– To give feedback on market knowledge developed in the field to the team as a whole and the marketing team, in particular.

Person Specifications

– Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently.
– Good coaching skills
– You will need to have the ability to travel across UK territory.
– Strong background in rtPCR/qPCR/ddPCR
