Role Requirements
Travelling across London and other areas when needed to support customers. This includes validations, installations, repairs, servicing, decommissioning, relocation and troubleshooting their IVD product range.
TASKS:
· Effectively schedule and manage personal workload within the framework of the service team.
· Organise and prioritise tasks to ensure efficient operation within the assigned area.
· Participate in system upgrades, installations, and site surveys, maintaining a strong customer-focused approach at all times
· Provide support to fellow engineers as required to promote team success.
· Attend relevant training courses to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills.
· Manage own stock.
Person Specifications
Experience in Diagnostics equipment or Life Science equipment or Medical Imaging equipment or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing equipment or Chromatography, Mass spec (Chemistry equipment) or Ventilators or Anasthesia machines.
· Good knowledge of NHS medical laboratories.
· Computer hardware and networking skills would be advantageous.
· Ability to work in a flexible and customer focused manner.
· Ability to travel off territory when required to support other engineers.
· Team Worker.
· High energy.
· Ability to work autonomously and under pressure to resolve complex customer issues.
· Good communication skills are essential.
· A suitable qualification in a relevant technical qualification would be an advantage HNC/ONC/NVQ or higher.
