Role Overview
You will be servicing, repairing, and validating specialist laboratory equipment including centrifuges, incubators, and freezers.

Role Requirements
– Service, repair, and maintain laboratory equipment (centrifuges, freezers, incubators).
– Carry out preventative maintenance (PPMs) and validation tasks.
– Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide effective technical support.
– Deliver customer training and produce accurate technical documentation.
– Collaborate with colleagues across the wider UK service team.
– Travel primarily across the Midlands and North of England, with occasional overnight stays.
– Participate in structured training (including international training in Germany).
Person Specifications
Full UK driving licence.
Multiple years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent technical role.
Electro-mechanical background, comfortable working on both mechanical and digitalised equipment.
HNC/HND (or equivalent) in engineering, electronics, or related discipline.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Confident communicator with excellent customer focus.
Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently in the field.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, reporting systems).
