Service and Validation Engineer
Role Overview
This Field Service Engineer role focuses on supporting advanced biomedical and laboratory equipment across UK customer sites. You will lead equipment validation, perform installations and maintenance, and provide technical support to ensure systems operate reliably within regulated laboratory and healthcare environments. The position offers strong technical ownership, combining hands-on engineering with validation work while collaborating closely with service, technical, and commercial teams.

Role Requirements
Lead validation projects for biomedical equipment at UK customer sites.
Perform equipment installations, diagnostics, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
Deliver technical training and support to both customers and internal teams.
Travel internationally when required to support global service and validation projects.
Work collaboratively with service, sales, and technical teams.
Contribute to the development and expansion of the UK service capability.
Person Specifications
Background in refrigeration, biomedical engineering, or field service engineering.
Around 3+ years’ experience within validation, technical service, or a similar environment, or strong technical aptitude to develop into the role.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and organised.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
