US Internal Sales Representative
Role Overview
Based in the Boston office (with hybrid working available), you will be responsible for spearheading lead follow-up activity and you will be the first point of contact for existing sales channels. Success will be measured in timely lead follow-up and providing quick and relevant answers to inbound queries from existing sales channels.

They put a significant amount of revenue back into research and development in order to fulfil the constantly changing needs of their partners. This helps them to create new reagents and enhance the ones existing within their portfolio.
Role Requirements
General Responsibilities:
– Timely follow-up of 1st time customers
– Time follow-up of event or marketing activity leads
– Create and run research-based lead generation campaigns
– 1st point of contact for inbound sales queries from sales channels and escalate when necessary
– Liaise with marketing team to ensure successful event presence in Americas
– Attend occasional marketing events across Americas
– Maintain the company’s CRM system including data entry, report generation and basic customization
– Manage marketing material stock, such as printed literature and branded merchandise in US offices
Person Specifications
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements:
– Educated to degree level (a life sciences degree is desirable, although not essential). Equivalent experience is also welcome.
– Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
– Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
– An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
– Comfortable engaging with customers / potential customers
– Great listener
Desirable but not essential
– Proven inside sales experience
– Evidence of meeting targets and goals
– CRM and database experience
– Attention to detail
– PCR experience (or related molecular biology lab experience)
– Able to contribute creative solutions to existing processes
Package
Base salary flexible dependent on experience
Commission plan (20% of base salary)
