Account Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an Account Manager – Food (Ireland) to manage and grow a €2.5m territory across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This field-based role combines 60% account management with 40% business development, focused on expanding relationships within multinational food manufacturers, particularly dairy processors and large-scale production sites.
You will partner with laboratory, quality, and production teams to deliver microbiological and diagnostic solutions that protect product safety and brand integrity. The role offers full ownership of a national territory, with regular travel (3–4 days per week) and occasional Northern Europe collaboration and overseas product training.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative UK & Ireland Industry team, reporting to the Industry Sales Manager and operating within a wider Northern Europe structure.
Role Requirements
Grow and develop an established Irish territory, delivering approximately 10% annual growth.
Win new business within dairy processors and large food manufacturing organisations.
Sell a portfolio of pathogen detection systems, molecular testing platforms, automated laboratory equipment, and diagnostic software solutions.
Build strong working relationships with quality managers, production leaders, and laboratory stakeholders.
Deliver against revenue and capital equipment sales targets.
Person Specifications
Sales professionals with experience in dairy, food manufacturing, or contract laboratories.
Candidates currently selling into multinational food companies.
Technical or production professionals within dairy or food environments seeking to transition into sales.
